What Bonder is

Event tools usually make you choose. Either a public catalogue, where your birthday looks out of place, or a closed group chat, where nobody outside it will ever find what you are running. Bonder does both from the same tool, and you decide which kind each event is.

A map instead of an endless list

The question is rarely what is happening in Lithuania. It is almost always what is happening near me tonight. A list answers that badly and a map answers it well. Bonder places every public event across the city, so you can decide by looking rather than by reading thirty titles.

Only published, public events with a location reach the map. That is not a setting you can flip by accident, it is a rule written into the database query itself.

Private events that are genuinely private

A private event on Bonder has its own link and nothing else. It is not on the map, not in any list, not in the sitemap given to search engines, and it cannot be found by guessing. The link is the key: whoever has it sees the event, and to everyone else it may as well not exist.

If the link ends up somewhere you did not intend, you can replace it. The old one stops working, and the people who already said yes get the new one and stay on the list.

A guest list that means something

The event page shows who has already said they are coming. That matters in both directions: the host knows how many chairs to put out, and the guest can see whether their people will be there. If the event has a capacity you cannot oversell it, because replies and the waiting list are handled in a single step.

The exact address, full guest names and comments are shown only to people who have replied. That is enforced on the server, not hidden in the browser.

Free, and not as a promotion

Creating an event, publishing it and replying to one all cost nothing. Bonder sells no tickets, so there is no commission that has to come out of someone. If your event is paid, you state the price on the page and sell tickets wherever suits you.

Getting started

• Create the event: title, time, place and a cover. It takes a couple of minutes.
• Choose public or private. Public goes to the map, private goes only to your link.
• Send the link, or let people find you on their own.
• Watch who replies, and message everyone at once before the day.
