Vilnius Comedy Club are ecstatic to present The Great British Breakdown, a night of top-tier stand-up comedy featuring Grant Gallacher and Jack Holmes. Both British born, Grant and Jack set their sights on brighter futures in Europe and have since torn through dive bars, comedy clubs, festival stages and prestigious theaters, delighting crowds, winning awards and gaining recognition as two of the best comedians on the continent. With nearly 30 years of experience between them, these two immigrants from the island guarantee you a side-splitting night of hilarious jokes and stories; their contrasting yet complementary styles offering a perfect night that truly has something for everyone. About the acts: Jack Holmes Over the last 13 years, Jack Holmes has become known for high-energy performances and jokes that walk a delicate line between anger and absurdity, whilst tackling self- depreciation and cross-cultural observations to hilarious and heart-warming effect. Often doing upwards of 200 shows a year, Jack has performed in 35+ countries over 4 continents. He was featured in Austria's first ever televised English stand-up Broadcast, headlined prestigious comedy clubs in North America and made appearances at most major European comedy festivals, as well as opening for multiple household name comedians, all of which has cemented him as one of the names to watch for in the European comedy scene. Grant Gallacher Grant Gallacher is a young(ish) ‘Scottish Comedian of the Year’ finalist fresh off his last sell out European tour, and several appearances at the world-famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival. His material showcases his sharp, witty storytelling about relationships, life and his inevitable sexual inadequacy. Originally from Scotland but now based in Prague, Grant has toured comedy shows all over Europe, as well as hosting the VisualPolitik YouTube Channel with over 1.5 million subscribers. His new special “Taken for Granted” is out now on Youtube. Grant has been described as “one not to miss” mostly by his mum.
