How to organize a private event in Vilnius: venues, budget and planning
Bonder · Published
To organize a private event in Vilnius, settle the guest count and budget first, then pick a venue type: a private room in a bar or restaurant, a karaoke room, bowling or other games, a loft or hall to hire, a country house out of town, or your home or office. Book a group space two or three weeks ahead for a Friday or Saturday night; for December parties, event organizers advise booking as early as September or October. Send an invite with RSVP as soon as you know the date, so you have the exact headcount the venue will ask for. You can make that invite for free on Bonder in a couple of minutes.
Capacities and addresses come from the October 2026 checks of venue websites and listings; this guide is not a new availability or price check. Budget labels compare venue types, not live quotes. Ask the venue about your exact date, group size, accessibility, deposits and cancellation terms.
Which venue suits a private event in Vilnius?
The table compares six venue types: the group size each one suits, a relative budget (low, medium, high) and when to book. Venues usually give exact prices only on request.
| Venue type | Group | Budget | When to book | Examples |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Private room in a bar or restaurant | A restaurant is most convenient for 20 to 60; 7 Fridays spaces up to 70, 110 or 180, Grasalė up to 90, Medžiotojų restoranas up to 100 | Medium to high | Weekends 2 or 3 weeks ahead; December in September or October | 7 Fridays (Pilies, Reformatų, Perkūnkiemis, Vingis), Kavinė Grasalė, Medžiotojų restoranas |
| Karaoke room | From a few people up to 50 | Medium | Ahead; weekends 2 or 3 weeks ahead | SING karaoke house, Action! by Apollo, O’Learys Akropolis |
| Bowling, pool and games | From 2; a private room up to 20, laser tag up to 18 players at once | Low to medium | Worth it on weekends; VR is booked on the spot only | Action! by Apollo, O’Learys Akropolis, Cyber Pool |
| Loft or hall to hire | By space; K2 Comedy Club small hall up to 100 at tables, Chaos club up to 600 | Medium to high | Ahead; December in September or October | K2 Comedy Club small hall, event spaces, Chaos nightclub |
| Country house out of town (sodyba) | KIBIN BOX AND RESORT packages for up to 20, 30 or 50 people | High: transport and overnight stay | As early as you can; December in September or October | KIBIN BOX AND RESORT |
| At home or in your office | As many as fit; an office suits a small team | Low: no room hire | Send the invite 2 or 3 weeks ahead | A Bonder invite with RSVP |
Before you book any venue, ask three things: how many guests fit, whether there is a minimum spend, and how late you can stay. With the answers in writing, comparing two or three venues is much easier.

Where can you rent a room for an event in Vilnius?
If you want dinner, your own music and a space where nobody else is in the way, look for a bar or restaurant with a separate event room. The venues below, with capacities, are covered in our birthday and Christmas party guides.
- 7 Fridays Pilies (Pilies g. 11): a renovated private cellar in the Old Town for up to 70 guests, with sound and video equipment and a group menu.
- 7 Fridays Reformatų (Pylimo g. 9A): an industrial style bar in the city centre; up to 100 guests inside, and up to 180 with the outdoor terrace in Reformatų park.
- 7 Fridays Perkūnkiemis (Eitminų g. 3): a cosy bar for up to 70 guests, plus an outdoor dome space in the warm season.
- 7 Fridays Vingis (M. K. Čiurlionio g. 102): the main bar and a separate fireplace room, together up to 110 seated or 150 standing guests.
- Kavinė Grasalė: a room for up to 90 guests that advertises company and private Christmas parties. Medžiotojų restoranas (Jeruzalės g. 16): three rooms for groups of 10 to 20 and 50 to 100, price by agreement.
- K2 Comedy Club (A. Goštauto g. 25) rents out its small hall, which seats up to 100 people at tables; the bar is the club’s own, and food comes from outside caterers you arrange. Action! by Apollo (Ozas shopping centre, Ozo g. 18) has a private party room for up to 20 people with a projector and PlayStation 5 games.
How do you plan a corporate event in Vilnius?
For a corporate event, the size of the team decides the format. Pramogų kompasas, a Lithuanian events company, runs company Christmas events in restaurants, lofts, country houses (sodybos) and the client’s own office, for groups from 15 to 20 people up to several hundred. Fotoveidrodelis.lt calls the office the cheapest and cosiest option for a small team and a restaurant the most convenient for 20 to 60 people. A sodyba is best for activities and an overnight stay, though it needs a bigger budget.
- A cooking class works best for teams of up to 20. At Kulinarijos studija (Krokuvos g. 2), for example, you cook a three course dinner together and have the studio for 4 hours.
- A tasting suits groups of 10 to 50. Vyno klubas (Stumbrų g. 15) runs private tastings for teams, including non alcoholic drinks, and its wine cellar holds up to 24 people.
- A craft workshop, such as candle making: up to 30 people, and everyone takes their work home.
- Karaoke works for a small office and for a party of more than 100 people.
- Keep attendance and games voluntary: Fotoveidrodelis.lt stresses that for introverts and newcomers the most important principle is that nothing is compulsory.
If you are planning a December party for staff, the dates, cost benchmarks and invitation wording are in our company Christmas party guide.
How do you throw a private party in Vilnius that only invited guests attend?
A closed event needs two things: a venue with no walk-in guests, and an invite nobody else can open. A private room, a private karaoke room or a whole hired space takes care of the first. For the second, use a link-only invite: a private event on Bonder is excluded from public listings, and the exact address is shown only to the hosts and to guests who replied and did not choose “Can’t Go”.
- If guests should not see each other, hide the guest list.
- If the invite might be forwarded, turn on approval and confirm each reply yourself.
- If the link spreads too far, it can be replaced, and guests who already replied keep access.
- Put the door code, the entrance and what to bring in one invite instead of scattering them across messages.
How to plan a private event: a checklist
- 4 or 5 weeks before (8 weeks for a December party): settle the budget, the format and a rough guest count.
- Ask two or three venues for offers, with capacity, minimum spend, deposit, cancellation terms and closing time.
- 3 weeks before: book the venue; Friday and Saturday nights go first.
- The same day: send an invite with RSVP and ask people to reply by a set date.
- Ask about dietary needs and allergies in the invite, so you can pass them on to the venue.
- If the event is out of town: book transport both ways and count the beds.
- One week before: confirm the final headcount and menu with the venue.
- A day or two before: remind guests of the time and address in the group chat.
- Afterwards: collect the photos in one album and thank your guests.
How much does a private event in Vilnius cost?
On 20 October 2026 no Vilnius venue or listing site we checked published a per-person price for a Christmas party, and Pramogų kompasas says the cost depends on the number of guests, the programme and the technical setup, so an exact price only comes with a quote. Published hire rates and a few dated examples give a sense of scale.
- Room hire: in October 2026 room hire in Vilnius cafés and restaurants was listed at 20 to 100 EUR an hour (for example Grasalė 40 EUR an hour, 7 Fridays 100 EUR an hour), event spaces at 10 to 50 EUR an hour, and the Chaos nightclub at 400 EUR an hour.
- Country house: KIBIN BOX AND RESORT packages with an overnight stay start at 515 EUR for up to 20 people, 20 to 30 EUR a head on average.
- Programme: in 2021 a host and DJ team cost from 3,000 EUR. Activities often have a fixed price for the whole event, so they get cheaper per head as the group grows.
- A full evening with a programme: in 2021 one event organizer put a 100-guest company party at about 25,000 EUR and a 35-guest one at about 5,000 EUR. That is one estimate, not a market average.
- The cheapest options: your home or office with no room hire, a pub quiz, bowling or karaoke.
What goes into an event budget
- Venue: hire fee or minimum spend, deposit, cancellation deadline and fee, closing time.
- Food and drink: price per head, vegetarian and allergen-free dishes, non-alcoholic drinks, service.
- Programme and technical setup: host, DJ or performers, sound, lighting, microphone, projector. Ask what the venue already has.
- Decorations and a photo corner.
- Transport and accommodation if the event is out of town, and taxis home afterwards.
- A contingency line for unforeseen costs.
How do you invite guests and track RSVPs?
A venue usually wants the final headcount a few days ahead, and “I’ll be there” messages get lost in a group chat. The simplest fix is one invite page with RSVP and a link sent to everyone. On Bonder that is free for the host and the guests, and the invite takes a couple of minutes.
What a Bonder invite gives you
- RSVP and plus onesGuests answer Going, Maybe or Can’t Go and say how many people they bring, up to the limit you set.
- Your own questionsUp to 10 questions on the invite, for example about dietary needs or allergies.
- Capacity and waitlistSet as many spots as the booked room holds. When it is full, guests can join a waitlist if you turned it on, and move up when someone drops out.
- Private by defaultThe invite is reachable only by its link and is excluded from public listings and asks search engines not to index it. You can hide the guest list and approve replies yourself.
- Chat and co-hostsA guest chat on the event page, and a colleague or friend can help run the invite as a co-host.
- Album after the eventGuests can add photos to a shared album if you allow it. The event can be added to a calendar, and the invite shared on WhatsApp, Messenger or an Instagram story.

Frequently asked questions
- How do you organize a private event in Vilnius?
- Settle the guest count and budget, compare two or three venues (a room in a bar or restaurant, karaoke, bowling, a loft, a country house or your home) and book a Friday or Saturday night two or three weeks ahead. Send an invite with RSVP and a reply deadline the same day, and confirm the final headcount with the venue a week before.
- Where can you find a private event venue in Vilnius?
- Bar and restaurant rooms work well, for example the 7 Fridays spaces (up to 70, 110 or 180 guests), Kavinė Grasalė (up to 90) or Medžiotojų restoranas (rooms for 10 to 20 and 50 to 100). For a bigger event you can hire the K2 Comedy Club small hall (up to 100 at tables) or the Chaos nightclub (up to 600).
- How far ahead should you book a venue?
- Book a group space two or three weeks ahead for a Friday or Saturday night. For December, event organizers advise booking in September or October, because December Fridays and Saturdays go first.
- How much does it cost to hire a room for an event in Vilnius?
- In October 2026 room hire in Vilnius cafés and restaurants was listed at 20 to 100 EUR an hour, and event spaces at 10 to 50 EUR an hour. Food and the programme are extra, and the venue gives an exact price on request.
- Where can you hold a corporate event in Vilnius?
- For a small team, your own office is the cheapest and cosiest option; a restaurant is most convenient for 20 to 60 people; and a country house out of town suits activities and an overnight stay, though it needs a bigger budget. For an active evening, pick a cooking class (up to 20), a tasting (10 to 50) or karaoke.
- How do you track RSVPs for a private party?
- Send one invite with RSVP and a reply deadline. On Bonder you see who is going, who might come and who cannot, and how many people each guest brings, while capacity with a waitlist keeps you within what the booked room holds. A private invite is reachable only by its link.
